The hitchhiking monk of the electronic music world has returned to Paris.... having left the wild west of Europe (aka, "Andorra") behind for the moment. While I was out of reach, so much has happened, especially in the world of music and in where the "Chaos Clock" has appeared in many places. I'll jump right into it!

"The Manifestation of Hidden Forces", written by dA's own Anna Czímer, was published earlier this month in Hungary. The book's front cover features the Chaos Clock fractal stock, with my name on the back cover. Anna is already writing the next book in the series, and I love seeing the clock on the cover of a physical book. Mad congratulations and thanks to her! The book is coming soon to Amazon dot Com, and you can find it online here on United PC: hu.united-pc.eu/koenyvek/szepi…

Title: R.E.M. Rejtett Erõk Megnyilvánulása
Author: A. R. Czímer
Publishing Company: Novum Publishing

Update!: You now find the book [Here on Amazon dot Com]

I am going to go over many other appearances of the clock, but first some music news. Since releasing the 8th and final album in the "IO" series, I have been focusing on remixes and mashups... with a sprinkling of original productions along the way. Many of these are up for free download, and I'll give you the links to my favorites. At the same time, construction has begun on an official Jaya Prime dot Com website. It's a work in progress. And w00t for my chillstep song "Underwater Grave" [SoundCloud] being selected for potential licensing in film and television!!! Cross your fingers, as the ten euros in my pocket isn't even enough to buy food, and I could use the royalty fees if the song is chosen for a major production... but, really, many of us are hurting for money.... so let's move the focus to the music for a moment!!! Listen, download, share... and stay tuned!

The Making of a Violent Cyborg Heart [SoundCloud]: What happens when you mash Ghost in the Shell with Nine Inch Nails? You get an industrial glitch chillstep song with a Japanese choir singing about the death of the gods. Also, when you listen to Reznor's original lyrics as if they were spoken by a cyborg to its human master, the words take on an entirely new level of meaning!

The Last Memory of Fire (The Weyland Industries Mix) [SoundCloud] [YouTube]: For transhumanists, for fans of chillstep, and for fans of the movie "Prometheus" (or the AVP universe in general). I created this special remix of my own "Last Memory of Laughter" using the viral campaign for "Prometheus", where the great Peter Weyland himself gives a TED Talk in the year 2023 detailing the advent of fire, and, as a consequence, the rise of the new gods--humans.

Watch Me [SoundCloud] [YouTube]: This symphonic chillstep song deserves a lot more promotion than I've given it. I released the song in March, then told almost NO ONE about it... but I've been busy. In fact, you who read this are hearing more about the song than I've told most other people. The quotes come from the samurai book called "Hagakure", read by Forest Whitaker in a small independent film called "Ghost Dog". Instead of the standard LFO "wobble" bass in dubstep songs, I used an electro-bass matched by string crescendos to increase the energy. Despite my almost complete negligence in promoting it, the song's slowly been gaining momentum.

These last two songs are not available for public download at the moment, but you can listen to them both online. The first is named for and dedicated to the woman I love--Feathers for the Daughter of the Wind [SoundCloud] [YouTube]. It's a cinematic trip-hop song that dances between melodic harmonies and high-contrast electronic elements. The second song is a remix of the very first track I produced for the Trochlear Recordings Limited record label back in 2005--Sombranoche (The Nocturnal Memories Refix) [SoundCloud] [YouTube]. This refix is part broken beat, part dubstep, and breathes new life and energy into the song with all that I've learned in the past six years.

Since the Daily Deviation, the Chaos Clock has appeared in so many places that there is no way I can remember or share all of them. It will also soon be appearing in a computer game, as well as part of a card game, and even more are on the way. If you use the Chaos Clock in your art, keep sending links, or linking in comments, and send me messages for larger projects. I want to share some of my favorite pieces of art, and mad apologies to anyone who I've forgotten.

"Tempus Fugit" by cala-rossini: One of my absolute favorites! The symbolism, emotions, and subtle use of colors and layers to "unify" all the elements strike me immediately. Incredible! Beautiful! An instant favorite!

"Twisted Lifetime" by gustavoavancini. Wow... just wow... frakking speechless!!!

"The Time Writer" by abigaildream: I was raised on the three artists Dali, Escher, and Giger. You could say that "surrealism with a twist" is in my blood. This piece merges temporally symbolic pieces into a single scene, a scene that calls to the spirit of the traveler and to the spirit of the alchemist.

"The Non-existing residue" by mindtuber: This incredible alchemical study is very near to my heart, centering on the Qabalistic "Flower of Life", then setting other powerful symbols in orbit around the core, with organic additions from the human form and electronic additions from my fractal. MindTuber pulled from many sources to create this piece, creating also an "official version" [HERE]. It is more than a piece of art, as it is also a learning tool, providing a foci in its form and in the text included with the art.

"The race of Time" by fairling: Come on!! The fashion and style of steam punk, with ticking clocks, fractals, and explosions of color? This piece is pure win... and expertly executed!

And there are many more! If I had the time to write about all of these, I would, and I know I am missing many others that do not even appear here.

And one more place, this one being outside of deviantART, but very much worth mentioning... as the clock was included to help illustrate Whitehorse's astrological journal [Here on Leah Whitehorse dot Com]. I actually wish I'd caught this one a little earlier, as at the time I was facing exile from the Europe's "Schengen Zone" and completely missed this one originally.

Cheers y'all! And much love!!!
